VERY!!!
Thanks for posting this, Ann :-) What a neat idea and a new avenue for more funds to help the sanctuary.

I wish them luck with this venture.....

I have nothing but the utmost respect for Marina! She is a class act! I love touring the sanctuary and always take a boatload of carrots and apples.

I do have one suggestion though. The donation box is at the back of the airport, and not in a good location easily spotted by visitors. She needs a large poster and a little narrative about what she does. Maybe close to the currency exchange booth or the restaurant. Let it smack people arriving and departing in the face!!

Marina has such a large heart when it comes to Bonaire's donkeys....anyone who can afford to support her efforts should consider doing so...well worth it for everyone.

I've definitely noticed how the population at the sanctuary has grown (exploded) on the webcams lately! Quite a lot of mouths to feed and care for medically and handling, too. Marina does such a great job of it all and she does appreciate any/all the help she can get.

Definitely stop by the sanctuary and safari park while you are on Bonaire and bring carrots, apples and some money, too, for the till if you can spare it. You will fall in love with these gentle giants instantly! Carole
