Hi guys,
I was reading through a bunch of the webcam posts, and always see your dog. I'm curious as to what breed he is. Its difficult to see from the posts.

Hi,
I found some more picutes of your dogs. Are they some sort of a brindle coloured mastiff cross? I just got 2 english mastiff puppies that are adorable!

Grendal's dad is a Neopolitan mastiff and mommy is a Fila Brasilia mastiff. She gets her pretty brindle fur from her mom.

Beautiful dog! Do you have any closeup pictures of the face? Being from a Neopolitan, they must have quite the wrinkly face with the big jowls.

So I guess you know all about dog slobber as well :)

Yep, lots of skin. She has her one white spot on her chest from her dad.
Grendal

Hooray for tile floors when it comes to dog slobber. She isn't too bad except for tracking water around after drinking.

LOL - my puppies are only 12 weeks old, and they're the same way. Water's the worst right now. They get their whole face in there, and then walk away and leave a big track. When they're chewing on a bone as well. After they get up they always have slobber hanging from both jowls. And 2 think they're only 30 pounds now - its going to be quite the slobber when they're 200 pounds :)

Oh well, we keep these 1' square 'slobber rags' all over the house.

What beautiful pups, Darryl! Hope you enjoy them as much as we have enjoyed Grendal!
Linda, she is a real beauty. What does she weigh now? I still have that image in my head of you trying to hold her whilst stepping on the bathroom scale, LOL! If she's anything like our "puppy," she probably still thinks she is a lap dog. Our Dandy thinks he is still 8 weeks old and tries to sit in our lap whenever he can. We all three have to line up so that Dandy has a big enough lap to lounge on!

Thanks Hazel,
The pictures are actually of the same puppy. Our other one is a fawn - I just don't have a picture on my laptop handy.

When we were visiting Floyd and his parents before we got him, we spent a lot of time with his grandma. Its amazing how big and gentle she is. She'll pin you do by sitting on your lap just to get the attention. After 15 minutes I couldn't even walk because my legs fell asleep :)

What kind of dogs do you have?

Linda - when we're down there in September on our honeymoon, we're going to have to come and see you dogs.

Jake thinks Grendal is a delicate 120-140lbs. Since she now outweighs me, I'm not trying the bathroom scale trick. One thing I did do right was never, ever letting the kids hold Grendal in their laps on the sofa when she was a puppy. She will lean on you and block your path but no sitting on your lap thank you. Grendal loves visitors and BBQs.

Linda, Grendal looks so big and her face looks all grown up now. I can't wait to see her again and give her a big hug!!!
Darryl, your pup is adorable. You will have to post pictures as she grows!

I'll post a couple of pics of both of my puppies tomorrow.

Boy are they ever bad though. They go to my parents during the day while I'm at work, and today my Mom called me and said they ate her Bleeding heart shrub :(
