Jake: is this the vile, pirated site mentioned in the previous thread?? I agree that you and Linda work too hard to let someone steal your stuff. If this is not the site, then I apologize to whomever this "webmaster" is.

No, this is not the same people. The MainStreetBonaire website covers City Cafe, Hotel Rochaline, City Restaurant, and Watta Burger websites.

And I should mention that Jake and I had lunch at City Restaurant/Cafe last week. The grilled pita sandwiches are very yummy. They had 6 different ones I think - mine was mushroom, cheese, peppers and onions.

Thanks Linda, please sign our guestbook and tell our viewers the same thing. They would be pleased to read something like that.

Please accept my apololgy. Sometimes my feet fit too easily in my mouth :-( The grilled pita sandwiches sound good, and Hotel Rochaline looks very cheerful. Thanks for providing more info about where to go on the isle of Bonaire.

Hazel, I can see where you are coming from. A normal reaction to defend "our" founding friends who have brought us all together here. Would have been my first reaction too. I went to that site to check it out.I like the "scrolling" news headlines. Great info on the businesses they represent. Good luck to them. You can never have too much positive info on the terrific places to visit on Bonaire.Like I say" You can have the best place(resturant, hotel, store ect..)in the world if nobody knows about it, how will they know to come by and see." Like the menue and entertainment dates info. it provides.

Thanks Lorraine for your great words on our business. We try to do our best to inform people about Bonaire. Not always easy to get the up to date news (from Bonaire) here in Holland. But as I say we try. Please sign our guestbook and tell our viewers the same thing.

Hey Webmaster Mainstreetbonaire (is this Rob?),

I can't find a link to BonaireTalk or the Bonaire WebCams on your site. Seems only fair :-)

You may want to use your real name and just sign-off as whatever your title/job is. Makes it all a lot more personable too! (and makes your posts seem less "advertising" oriented too - which we prefer otherwise start sending all sorts of warnings ;-)

Jake

PS Hazel - MainstreetBonaire is one of the sites which (after some initial discussions) obtained formal permission from us to use snippets of text from InfoBonaire, so they are clean. And yes, City Cafe's menu is quite nice now.

Yes Jake, it is me Rob,

At this moment we are adding more information to the site and restyling it a little. So it would be no problem to ad a link to both of your sites.

I'm not trying to "advertise" but to inform people as much as possible. So next time I will sign of with my real name.

Rob - Webmaster Mainstreetbonaire
