On behalf of one of my regular dive guests I would like to thank Mr X. who found and returned 2 dive computers that fell off the back of our truck by the side of the road at Ol' Blue last week. It was a very pleasant and reassuring surprise for us to be re-united with the VR3.($$$$$)

This is nice news! Thanks for letting us know how kind others can be on Bonaire...but, I am not surprised at all. Carole (Shutterbug)

Our first visit to Bonaire, we parked our rental truck at Tori's Reef while we did our navigation dive for our AOW. We were very careful to park so as not to block in the fishing boat that was also parked there (on trailer). When we got back from what turned out to be a -very- long dive, the local fishermen were just pulling out with their boat, and mentioned that they had rolled up the windows on our truck so the passing rainstorm that came by during our dive didn't leave us with wet seats. Great people!

Recently, one afternoon after exiting the Park, our vehicle sustained a flat tire.....we got out of the vehicle and Joe started to take the lug nuts and the tire off the vehicle when a commercial flat bed vehicle towing a small fork-lift truck pulled over to the side of the road within two minutes out our stopping our SUV. This nice gentleman walked over and scrathced his head (not a very "vocal" individual at all" )and he then unhooked his fork lift truck and drove it over to the front of our SUV and proceeded to "lift" (carefully) the front end of the SUV, pull the bad tire off (cactus in the inner tube!) and put the spare on, tightend up the bolts and then lowerered the vehicle. We thanked him profusely, shook his hand and attempted to hand him a "reward of thanks" which he promptly refused to accept. I took a pictre of Joe and this nice man but I have not downloaded it onto the PC as yet. I will post it later on. He was a lifesaver as my cell phone battery had just gone dead the moment we exited the park area. And it was getting dark outside.
