I will be enjoying my Honeymoon in Bonaire. During that time, we would like to do a little sport fishing, in addition to all the diving we will be doing. Has anyone here done that in Bonaire? What did you think of your boat? Would you suggest them, or someone else? What did you catch?

We discovered the hard way that it's better to have a friend with a boat, or failing that, to hire one, rather than own one yourself (we're residents here). A couple of times a year we get together with a group of friends and we always go out with Captain Chris of Piscaturs. I think he's been in the fishing charter business here the longest. He's a local family man, speaks perfect American, and we've always had a good time. No one can guarantee a catch, but we've caught everything from tuna to dorado to wahoo, to barracuda, etc. Marlin is caught in these waters (just not by us, YET).
