On the road between Rincon and Kralendijk is a turn off into the hills with a hand painted sign to the "Fountein." What eez that?

It's a fresh water well.. Someone can perhaps tell us more. I think it was used to get fresh water and bath or something like that in colonial days and you can still go there. We took a ride there last year. I couldn't quite figure it out.(like alot of things on Bonaire, even after all this time) Can you shed some light on this Jake or Linda ?

I was there last week. My Bonairean friends took Maggie and I. You follow a dirt road into a lush hillside area. Park and pay a donation. Follow the footpath along a lush area with fruit trees and caged birds. There is a port a potty, little cement pool (slimey algae bottom) for a refreshing swim and then a cave (I would NOT go in) with a trickle of water. No biggee but a fun diversion on the way home from a hot day in Washington for sure.
