A lack of big fish caught!! Well the weather was great as was the company also on this Feb 13 morning.. The BT charter consisted of Tom & Mary Murphy, Brian & Shannon Thomas together with Nina & myself. Capt Chris (Piscatur) did his best on the 3/4 day trip however the fishing gods were not with us.

We began the trip in early morning first catching the bait which Chris indicated were cigar minnnows or something like that. This was fun.Having caught our bait we were then all set to tie into the big ones.
Unfortunately despite our persistance this never occurred. At times we trolled over 7 lines out at once. Action was slow.

Well we all caught fish & the catch was mostly tuna (small) & one 3 foot barracuda which I happened to land.. We were all a bit disappointed that we didn't catch any wahoo and were certainly looking forward to tying into a big one.

Pics to follow since Cynde indicated she'd assist with posting them (I tried several times without success).

Perhaps next year we'll have better luck going for bonefish. A word to the wise to fellow anglers reading this, I don't believe this was the sole reason for the limited catch, but I'd recommend against scheduling the trips on a full moon.

LOL Vince, I hope you had a nice beer after bringing in that cigar minnow to rejuvinate yourself...I couldn't get the pics of the "big fish" to post...the fish was too big...he he...

Hey they do call it fishing not catching. Looks like a good time was had by all. I took the liberty of editing the group shot so we could see the faces, very important for future line-ups.

I went with Chris on Friday. We caught NOTHING. This was my fourth Trip with Him, And my Fourth Time not catching anything. Oh well, It was still a great boat ride.

Jay.. I'm really surprised at that!! So I guess my hypothesis about going on a full moon leaves a little something to be desired. So where are the @X#$*&^$% fish?
At any rate, next time I'm on Bonaire I'm going to go after bonefish.
