I read on the Jong Bonaire site that some of Capt. Don's stories were published in 1994 under the title, "The Adventures of Capt. Don". Was this published locally, and if so, could a copy still be obtained?

When on Island check at the Dive Shop at Capt. Don's Habitat. I purchased the booklet several years ago and a nice DVD last year.

I have a copy; Unfortunately I don't remember where I bought it on Bonaire. Possibly the Toucan dive shop, possibly the airport shop. Many of Capt. Don's stories posted on this site recently are included in this book. Would love to get mine signed as well.

I picked up a copy at the gift shop in the airport. It was fun reading while waiting for a delayed flight to arrive.

The gift shop at Habitat stocks it as do other locations such as Bruce Bowker's Carib Inn shop. If you want it signed, buy it prior to the manager's Rum Punch Party on Monday nights at Habitat and take it along. Capt'n Don is usually there and will be glad to sign it for you. He sometimes has a Sharpie with him, but I take my own to be sure. I have done this on different trips and now have personalized signed copies for myself, my sister, and my nephew. The Habitat shop closes at 5, so you have to go early to buy it since the party starts at 6. I stay at Habitat so that is not a problem.
