Hi everyone, Im just wondering if anyone who reads this forum were part of the T.W.R contingent of people who were living and working on Bonaire in the mid 70s if there are i'd just like to say hello. just to explain who i am ,i'm the English kid who was on Bonaire with my Parents and younger brother while my father worked on the Bopec oil terminal in 75 and 76. I'm making my second trip back to Bonaire this summer after being there in 2004 for the first time in 28 years and just wondered if anyone who was there at that time is still there or make trips back.

Tim I'm not sure if any active BT'ers work at TWR but Brad has a blog about TWR. Here's a link. You can always leave him a message.

Cecils recommendation is a good one...Brad's Bonaire Blog is excellent for viewing the real Bonaire.

Yup. It's added to my bookmarks now too. Thanks for the link! And thank you, Brad, for this blog. Awesome, even for somebody like me who also lives on Bonaire.

I'm sure I got that link here a while back. I check it a few times per week, Brad does a great job. His pictures around Bonaire are quite enjoyable.

I think he mentions the len he uses, I think it was a 300mm which is about right for a big subject, ie. Orion Nebula.

Cyn and BTers,

The archives of Brad's Blogs are loaded with great pics and Bonaire stories. If you get to Bonaire, Brad and Sandra are really interesting folks. Brad a hi-tech engineer/missionary which is an interesting story in itself. Sandra is a graphic artist, producer, webmaster, and linguist. With Sirius and XM radio now doing satellite radio, TWR on Bonaire has been doing that for 20 years. Some of the best shots of Bonaire reefs are from the top of the old 500 ft towers over Alice-in-Wonderland. Sandra's parents started Trans World Radio (Bonaire) in the 1960's. They love the island and have great stories about it. Blog in.

Bud
