Well no matter how hard I tried I managed to get the creeping,crawling, crud that seems to be going around. Sore throat, stuffed up nose, the works. Thankfully I got on antibiotics right away and should be fine for my trip. 1 week and a day from Bonaire!

Hey Gloria! I'm so sorry you got sick this close to your trip. Here are my tips for you: Keep good positive thoughts, drink lots of OJ, keep your body temperature regulated (don't get too hot before going out and try not to get too cold when outside), eat a variety of fruits and veggies every day, take a multi-vitamin and keep dreaming of Bonaire. Most of those tips I actually stole from my doctor. Almost every time we try a winter trip to some place warm, I also catch the creeping crud. The tips seem to work for me...so I hope they do for you too! Here are a bunch of good vibes for you in hopes you have an incredible vacation.

Hi Gloria have a great trip, try Echinacea and Zinc Citrate to help get rid of the lurgy. We use it before we travel to help to prevent us from catching colds etc. on the plane.
