Does anyone know which cell phone band/frequencies are used in Bonaire? TDMA, CDMA, GSM?

I have a CDMA phone and a GSM world phone and am wondering if I'll be able to use either.

Thanks all,

Alynda

GSM is the way to go but it can be confusing. There are 3 bands used here. I bought a service with Verizon in the US and got a Nokia tri band with the correct bands and unlocked. Lo and behold it does not work here. I bought a tri band A 100 Panasonic and it works here and with my T Mobile Chip. It is hit or miss. the TDMA were once used here but I think most are using GSM now. I think Cellone uses TDMA still.

Cheers..

Alynda, go to infobonaire.com, e-mail the cell companies, find out and post it for all of us.
If you don't mind. Not that I am telling you what to do or anything...

What I've found out so far:

Found this site http://www.celluloco.com/products/customer/pages.php?pageid=19
and they claim to have the "GSM Frequency of Every Country in the World"

GSM Association Website http://www.gsmworld.com/roaming/gsminfo/index.shtml

Cellular One has TDMA http://www.oceanicdigital.com/Bonaire.htm

Setel NV, UTS Wireless Curacao GSM 900 may have variable service to Bonaire...just not sure. Can anyone confirm?

Michael's response:

the GSM triband if it is unlocked will work here. No to the CDMA. Let me know and I will have a chip ready for you. Best, Michael.
