Does anyone know of anyplace that sells organically grown fruits or vegetables on Bonaire? I have extensive food allergies and chemical sensitivities, so i generally eat organic when I can find it. I haven't seen it in past years, but thought I'd ask. I bring some of my food, but it's hard to carry enough for 2 weeks. Poor me! Any help appreciated.

Some of the stuff at warehouse is hot house grown. You may want to ask when you are here. A few locals also grow stuff. I don't know under what coditions, however.

Jean, you might think about dehyrating enough organic fruits and vegetables to take with you. That would cut down on space and weight. jJst get a small suitcase from the Sally Army or a thrift store and pack it full of plastic baggies of your dried stuff and tape it closed. Taking fruit and veggies out of the US isn't a problem, bringing it in is.

Thanks Michael and Linnea. I will bring some dried fruit and I'll check at the warehouse.
