I read last week about the new fuel pier to be built at the airport, to allow efficient refueling of KLM's 747s going to Quito, Ecuador. Does anyone know exactly where? It doesn't sound good for the windsock mooring.

It really is not pier, but a fuel moorng and we already have a similiar set up at the electric plant next to the northern resorts. If installed and mantained properly, it will pose no threat to windsock. Bonaire needs the KLM flight to help bring back some of the jobs and people it has lost over the past few years.

That was even faster than I expected. I have never had a good look at the setup near the power station, but I guess it can't be too much, as I have passed it many times on the dive boats.
