No kidding. When I saw the email that said "you've won", I was just going to delete it as another bit of spam, then I recognized the name of Alan Gross.

I won one of the prizes in the Jong Bonaire Online Banquet Sweepstakes --- a week at the Deep Blue View B&B for two!!!! Now we have to plan our next next trip right away! (The next trip is actually next week!). I am so thrilled!!!! To do a good deed and make a donation to a worthy cause, and then WIN!!! As you can tell, I'm jumping up and down with joy.

We love where we stay usually (Bonaire TownHomes), but the Deep Blue View looks lovely, and it's been out of our price range, as we have the time to stay for longer, but to do so need budget accommodations. So next time, we'll have a week at Deep Blue and the rest of the time at BTH.

Thanks, everyone. I am SO pleased. I emailed Deep Blue View right away (not that I was excited or anything, of course) and they sent me a nice note back. We'll go and "check them out" on this trip and talk about timing for the next one. I'm always planning my "next" trip, so this just makes it neater.

Just made our big Josie and Alan sign for the street cam --- look out for us some time next week!

I was pleased to hear Eggbeaters are available, and I asked Michael to get some in for me, in case they go by the time we shop. Now I won't have to worry about keeping something frozen in the baggage. I'm bringing something down for Michael, so we can just switch purchases!
