I hate to think I'll be missing the hard-fought-for final episode/mini-series for Farscape, set to begin airing Oct 17!!

I loved this show, and when they pulled the plug on it suddenly a couple of years ago (at the season finale/cliffhanger, no less) fans campaigned to at least get a conclusion to the story.

Anyone? SCIFI on Bonaire? Please?

Nope. I was at the sand dollar last week. The cable definitely did not have sci fi. Get Tivo. Thatz the best. I had all my fav shows recorded at home in U.S when I was vacationing in bonaire

At divi flamingo they did have scifi... So I think it depends on where you are. Divi probably had a satellite dish, though.

Our old big dish had it but I don't think either of the ones I have now has it.

Hmmm. I may need to purchase a Tivo or ReplayTV... or hope they rerun it more times than currently shown on the schedule.

I'm really bummed out because of all of the rain we've had and my neighbor's trees will still have leaves that weekend. See, I can't get a signal with my DISH when there are leaves.
They were saying that this new show would be airing in the November/December time frame last January. I knew I'd have a signal then.

I've worked the last six years [not this year] at DragonCon on staff. I've gotten to know Virginia Hey the last several years. Lany Tupu is a cool guy and I've worked with some of the others as well, in the Walk of Fame autograph area of the Con.

I was really looking forward to this show. Maybe I can get a friend to tape it for me. Or maybe they will repeat the show at a later, no leaves date.

I'd heard November/December too - I was shocked when I found out the change.

I have most (not yet all) of the DVDs from the show, and turned a couple of friends who didn't get cable or DISH on to the show by lending them the DVDs.

How cool you got to meet some of them. I always suspected that Lani Tupu would be a fun guy to have a few beers with. Same with Ben Browder and Claudia Black, for that matter.

I'm still wrestling with the Tivo/ReplayTV question - at least with cable I don't have to worry about leaves ... like you, I explect it'll be repeated (SciFi always gets their moneys worth out of a show), or out on DVD in a few months.
