I have Michael Gaynor's Red Folgers bought and plan on getting some fresh non-fruity bagels for him on the 3rd in San Juan before heading Bonaire way. Jake/Linda I know you like bagels and schmear, any special kinds? Anything else I can pick up here on the left coast for anyone, besides doggy/kitty treats?

Hi Linnea,

Pumpernickel, Cranberry Nut, and Egg, in that order :-)

I think we're fine otherwise, seeing as we just returned from the U.S. a short while ago and did lots of shopping :-)

Jake

How are the bagels from San Juan?? Interesting, Linnea! You're so good to the good folks on Bonaire. Carole

Oooh, I love Egg bagels, too, Jake...nice choice! No schmear to put on the bagels?? cb

I don't know about PR bagels, but they should be good as so many Boriquenos have lived in NYC. I found one on the internet in Isla Verde, but will double check with the desk clerks to see if it good or it they know of a better place.

If I'm lucky I will also find some real lox. Now that I may keep for myself. Water or egg bagel, schmear, and lox. MMMMMM!!! I can get the real thing here, but it's too far, too long with the 3 days on PR to keep it safe to eat. Excuse me while I make a run to the kosher deli. I'm starting to drool.
