Sorry for the off topic thread, but I don't know of any newsgroup like this one for Fiji. Does anyone here know anything about Fiji? Is it worth going to? What special places or dives should I see? Is there a newsgroup like this to discuss it?

You can check the newsgroups rec.scuba or rec.scuba.locations. You can also search the archives of the newsgroups by going to
Google. Using the advanced search feature you can retreive only scuba related postings by entering by rec.scuba for the newsgroup to be searched.

I know people on the newsgroups prefer that posters check for prior postings before soliciting comments on things that have been done to death.

So.....Mr. Wahliq, if you are real, I suggest you check out the undercurrent link. The best operation we came across was crystal divers, as recommended in undercurrent.

While Fiji lived up to its reputation as the best soft coral diving in the world, I think the reefs of Prudho are much better.
