I picked up a small battery charger for my digital camera and I was wondering if I have to worry about voltage on Bonaire. I don't want to plug the thing in only to have it burn out on me. Anybody have any bad experiences with battery chargers? If you have, what do you suggest?

Thanks, Richard

PS. We "only" have 81 days to go before our first trip to Bonaire!!!! PBD BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!!!

I would recommend using a surge protector. I bought an inexpensive one from Radio Shack that is very small , about the size of an plug adapter.

Get an adapter rated 50/60 Cycles (Hertz) and you'll be good to go.

I've never had any problems with my US 120V/60Hz charging gear, but I second the surge recommendation.

36 days for me. :-)
