Part of my daily routine has been to check the Bonaire Webcams at least once-sometimes several times-each day. It helps me cope with PBD. However, the last few days the webcams seem to be out of commission and even the weather doesn't seem to be updated.

There was some talk several weeks ago about the webcams being an endangered species-facing possible extinction. Does anyone out there have any light on the subject?

It seems that the Webcams have been a good advertisement for the island. Seems like the resorts, hotels, restaurants, etc. that get their livelihood from tourism could get together and find someway to fund the Cams.
