I am planning in advance that I will have horrible post bonaire depression. Since it seems the Ca, Tx, Ohio, and the New England bonaire talkers are having get togethers. I think we should have a get together either end of July or sometime in August. We can dive and have a cookout afterwards .

How's the ear? Did you make that weekend dive, or are you "resting" it for those great Bonaire dives?!

I too am suffering - both pre-Bon (it won't get here quick enough) and anticipating Post-Bon! We're in the middle of the state, so a FLA gathering is feasible for us. I'd be interested for August.

Good idea. I will be on/in/under Bonaire July 16th to Aug. 2. It would be fun to get together this summer for BBQ, pics, and swap stories.

Named after the amazing fish that leap out of the water into the wind and travel significant distances over the water. They are able to evade predators using an extended caudal (tail) and enlarged pectorals to their advantage. fyi, eons later humans learned to do this too.

I can tell you the origins of the name at the Gibi's BT session later this month. We do consulting in education, technology, and (my favorite stuff) science.

btw. Some folks have already signed up as field test volunteers for jellies, sun, and insects. Even an army medic outside Baghdad who is combating nasty sand flies. But there are more opportunities to donate your body to science if anyone is interested.
