Does anyone know how easy it is to purchase diapers on Bonaire? Specifically Pampers "Cruisers" size 4? We will be there for 10 days and want to fit our dive gear in our suitcases.

Thanks,
John

Pampers has always been a brand that was available here, but it has been a lot of years since I had to buy them. As in I've not heard of "Cruisers" although I have a good imagination for the go get'em type that might need those :-)
I'll take a look in the stores tomorrow and see what they have.

Okay, it is slim pickins at Cultimara. Shelves were full but well the shelves are not that long.

I found Pampers Fres Comfort in P, M, G, XG (in Spanish). G being equivalant to Large.
There were several other brands - Piccolin, Huggies, as well as Pull-Ups. No fancy choices between velcro or tapes, plastic or cloth outsides. As I remember it from several years ago that getting the right size was the most important aspect.

Other stores to try when you get here are Tropical Flamingo near the NAPA Auto Parts store and Cash N Carry (was Consales) across from Bonaire Warehouse.

Good luck and enjoy your vacation.

Thanks, Linda, for checking in the stores for our brand of diapers...we may just bring what we need -- which may not be much since our little guy will be on the beach or in the pool most of the time (where he can wear his reusable swim diapers -- or take the advice of going bare). We're so looking forward to our vacation there!

Thanks again,
John & Laurie

John & Laurie~ Enjoy your first trip to Bonaire! I'm certain it won't be your last! Hope to meet you both someday at a DFW BT gathering. Sorry, can't help you with the diaper situation on Bonaire, but I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just buy them there instead of filling up your luggage with them. However, be sure to carry plenty in your carry-on bags.
