Hi fellow bubble blowers!
Have been to Bonaire 8 times but never looked into playing tennis there before. The resorts are expensive and I am looking for FREE tennis. I read that there is a court in town behind M & C Bank. Does anyone know anything about it? I leave June 2nd so any quick feedback would be appreciated. Thanks, carole

There's a big concert the night of June 5 where those courts are (it's a multi-purpose area), so I doubt they'll be available for tennis at least the first part of your stay, possibly longer. Tennis for non-Sand Dollar guests/non-club members is fls 25/hour at Mango's, that's about $14.25.

Hi Lesa,

we leave at 6am from Knoxville! Do you change planes in Jamaica? On Delta? Harbor Village is really a classy place -- I'm sure you will enjoy it. Gene Hackman was staying there one year when we were on the island! We are staying in a townhouse at Lighthouse Beach which is a left turn from the airport about 2 miles. First time at that place. My son and wife are joining us there. They live near Denver.
Another really nice place to stay is Bellafonte. It's about a mile from the airport. We stayed there when they first opened 2 years ago. We decided it was too expensive for 4 of us for 2 weeks this time.
How long have you been certified? Bonaire is the easiest diving! (I hope you are renting a car). You just swim out 20-30 yds and you're on the reef. All the sites are good and well marked with yellow rocks by the road. Tons of fish! Safe diving.
For dining out try "It Rains Fishes" on the waterfront in town. Great ribs! If you were there longer I would try to tell you where to buy fresh fish to BBQ. Maybe next time.... because you WILL want to go back!
Have a great time ... maybe our paths will cross!
Carrie

Hi Lesa,
yes it seems we are on the same flights from Atlanta and Jamaica! It would be nice to say hi.
We don't have assigned seats yet, do you? My husband is easy to recognize --- 5'7 with blond/grey hair and a beard! I won't say our age but let me just say we have 7 kids and 15 grandchildren!! You are more in my sons generation -- he's been married 3 years.
I will probably be wearing a grey t-shirt that says "Grobanite" on the front. Do you know the singer Josh Groban -- I'm nuts about him! In fact I'm driving up to OH to see him in Aug!

The concert on June 5th is a group from South America via New York. I can say their name, but not spell it. Opening act is a local band, Glen & Friends. Supposed to start at 9pm & go till 3am, but I wouldn't be surprised if it went longer. The music will be latin-probably lots of merengues & different styles of salsa. I think entrance is fls 50 (about $30).
