We are thinking about going to Bonaire for 2 days than flying to Lima, doing Machhu Pichu, and all that stuff than flying back to Bonaire for 2 weeks. Has anyone done this? Any tips? Any info would be most helpful. I just found a couple of good sites from Peru. A lot of Europeans do this in the summer with a layover on Boanire upon their return. I think it would be a great trip.

Try KLM, they have direct flights from Lima To Bonaire. My advice would be to go directly to Peru first and use those two days to aclimate to the altitude in Cuzco. You can then fly from Lima to Bonaire via KLM. Have fun! Cuzco is a beautiful place with great people and awesome night life. Machu Picchu is magnificent and you will need at least two days to explore it fully (you may also want to climb Huayna Picchu) Be safe and have fun! Coach Izzy

Thank you Coach. That is pretty much what I was thinking. Since KLM has direct flights to Lima, I will only need to get to Cuzco, then back to Lima for Bonaire.
