What's the cheapest way to call to the us from there? I've heard long distance calling cards can be purchased on Bonaire, but where? Will the international cards you can buy in the states work there?

Dave, check with Michael at Chat N Browse. You can rent a phone and purchase time to be put on the phone to be used for local calls or calls to the US. We always buy our time from him. Last Christmas and February we called home to the US lots and it really was not all that expensive. Michael was a great help.

Dave, just never go to those evil blue phones all around Bonaire. Unless you are Paris Hilton or Bill Gates, they can ruin a vacation real fast when you come home and get your credit card bill.

I checked out the Chat N Browse website. They have a phone that you can rent with about 90 minutes for $75. However, I expect to make a total of about 30 minutes of calls in a week.
