Does anyone have a sewing machine I can borrow or is there someone who can help me for 10 min.? I need to make three panels for my kitchen cupboards that will cover them. I need a small pocket for a little rod and that's it. I will get the fabric today. I think they are about 3 feet long so I just need to make the rod pocket / hem.

Thanks..Annie

Annie,

If you can get to Stefanie, under the stairs at our house is one of those portable hand sewing machines (at LBR #13). It is in a brown box with thread and all the instructions. I bought one for down there and up here. I've used the one up hear and it works great for exactly what you want to do. Stefanie is usually at Allwaysgreen Bonaire (almost across from HHH) during the day or as you know our next door neighbor. She has the key to get under the stairs. Let me know if you get it.

Annie,

Linda has one and so does Benny. Also, ask Ann J who made her curtains.

Hope you are happy in the little blue house. I miss the porch!

I thought you were going stateside.....?

Happy Easter!

Annie,

If things go well, we will be down for a VERY short visit sometime in May or June, probably June. Only 5 days or so to handle business and get ready for our move. Our next step is to sell our house up here. We are hoping it sells by the end of the year or at the earliest, next spring. We are going to put it on the market in a month or so, we have a few little things to do to get it ready for sale.

How is Mags? Is she enjoying school? How are things going with you? Will you be staying on Bonaire for a while? I hope things are working out the way you wanted them to. We definitely have to get together and talk when we come down in June. Hugs!

Liz and Ed
