Last week I heard a catchy song often on the radio in Bonaire. I thought it was called "Chico." I don't know who the artist/singer was though. I want to use this song as part of a multimedia presentation I'm making about my trip to Bonaire. When I searched Kazaa I received way too many hits for songs with "Chico" in the title. Does anyone have any more specific information about this song? Thanks!

Do you remember what radio station you heard it on? Was it a male/female vocal, latin pop, merengue, salsa, rock...? And could you tell if it was in Spanish or Papiamento?

No idea what radio station. It was a male vocal (group?) and I would say latin pop is my best guess on genre. Not sure on Spanish or Papiamento either. I know I heard it at least twice a day and even my friend's 9 year old daughter knew the words so I figured it was pretty popular right now.

Here's two to ask about, currently on the Latin charts:
"Un chico malo" Charlie Cruz
"Chico desperado" Bossa Nostra

Oops--they're not so current, more like 2000 and 2001.
Have you tried watching MTV en Espanol? If it's hip and current, there's probably a video.

Thanks for all your suggestions! I'll at least be able to narrow the search. If all else fails, I'll just fly back to Bonaire! :-)
