Can you enlighten me as to what a non wood pencil is ? really hate those little golf pencils and have a white plastic slate..what else works ? thanks in advance

Debbi, they make pencils which are not wood, regular "lead" inside and some sort of ground plastic wood substitute. I just look for them in stationary stores, and when I find them I snap up a few, I may have gotten them on Bonaire first. They last quite a while. Also, look for the plastic eraser, kind of milky clear looking, for erasing the plastic slate!
