I've been reading and posting on this site since we made our first committment to Joe Bird about his condo at Lighthouse Beach Resort, last May. I've been really interested in learning about the "regular" contributors and would love to meet some of you. Brad and I are going to be just about outside the dates you've suggested, in that we leave Feb 6th at the crack of dawn. But if any social gathering takes place from Jan 7th to Feb 6th, please count us in! You all seem like really keen Bonaire supporters/divers. Hope to see some of you there.

Kathy and I will be on the island from early January to 7th of March.
Maybe we can do a "locate and map a seahorse or frogfish dive" and with 100 divers in the water we should pinpoint at least a few.

Alan, you are added; and, I hope to get an E-mailing out later today (or tomorrow)to the whole group.

Alan, would you mention in your email that I'm interested in coordinating an "east shore clean-up" event. Waiting for details from the person who did this in October, I believe. I'll probably try to do it between Feb 8 (to give me time on island to pull things together) and Feb 19 (before Alan leaves). I think this is a small way for us to "give back" to Bonaire for all the blessings we get from the island and its people.

lets do some kind of progressive dinner ..that way we all get to see what the different resorts, apartments are like..so start at one place for appitizers then head to another address for salad then another for another course etc,,,whatta ya think ????

I think it is funny that while we are in Boniare diving..Jake will be in Boston talking about us to the Sea Rovers Dive show...has anybody ever attended ??? we did go a couple of years ago, but in general it is always the same time as when we are in Bonaire.... okay I will take on the job of progressive dinner..will contact everybody after the holidays but before we leave in Feb.....may have to start counting the days soon...Josie sign us up for your clean-up date...thanks adam & debbi in beautiful snow covered Vermont

If all goes according to plan, I should be arriving in Boston the evening of the 28th of Feb., and stay either at the Fairmont Copley or the Westin (have to check rates), until Sunday night, at which point I'm probably heading back to Dan & Faith's in Bolton to crash in their guest room for a couple of days while taking care of some business in the area.

The best bet to hookup would be the same Saturday night we'll be meeting for dinner with everyone...

Debbie, sign us up to participate in the progressive dinner. I don't cook much, but could do salad. I'd love it if we can do this before Alan leaves on 2/21. (I have this secret hope that if he hangs around with enough divers, then he'll want to try it himself!) Then you all can see one of Bonaire's best kept secret little accommodations. I'll have to send a map....
