We are going to Bon for the first time in February for two weeks. Anyone know if you can be your own captain of a small boat with outboard for fishing and snorkeling? How about the cost?

Bonnie
I thought I posted this before. Toucan Diving at the Plaza Resort has "boston whalers" with outboard motors for half or full day rental. I don't know about prices but there's a bit of information on their website

Good luck

Joe

Thanks to all for your help with the small boat rental info. We're arriving Jan. 26 for our FIRST Bonaire visit. We snorkel and fish (mostly catch-and-release), and we can't wait to get out of this Michigan winter gloom.
Still looking for a deal to keep a small boat w/outboard for two weeks at our cottage rental. Can't afford the daily rate at those prices, and Barry has to get those fish at the crack of dawn - he can't wait until 9 am for the rental. I hope we can find a local resident and make a deal.
