September is a good month to visit Bonaire, it is one of very few Caribbean island that are Hurrican free. We have been in September for the last 5 years and apart from the odd shower it has been great. Coral Spawning should be in the first week of Sept next year.

I've heard that the wind dies in September, making it hotter, but when we were there in the year one it was still pretty windy to me.
Of course, we were a bit shellshocked then too.

Seb, I agree...when we were there in September a couple years ago and it seemed there was always a nice breeze...I thought it was much hotter this last July...

If you are hot in Bonaire then you are simply not spending enough time in the water.

LOL Seb...I'm not a fan of really hot weather (I'm spoiled living where I do) so anything over 90 for me is almost unbearable regardless of how much time I'm in the water (just ask Kelly or Michael:-))

MIke:

My wife and I were in Bonaire September 12-19. The weather was about as perfect as you'd want it. Water temp about 83 degrees. Daytime temps about 90. We had one day when the wind changed direction - more from the south - and some of the dive sites were a bit rough. But other than that, we had no complaints. There were no crowds anywhere. It was our first trip to Bonaire and we definitely plan to go back next year - and the next, and the next, and...

My wife's boss was there in October and the weather was perfect then too. It sounds like, from the other posts, that Bonaire weather is pretty nice any time of the year. I think it would be hard to have a bad time in Bonaire - unless you're really hard to please. As far as diving goes - it's hard to beat.

Marvin
