I've read that Bonaire has some mighty radio transmitters on the island. Now I've seen accounts in the annals of old time radio of barbed wire fences glowing from all that radiant energy.

Standing smack-dab in front of the Radio Netherlands antenna array, I never even felt so much as a hair twitch. Not once did my molars start humming... (and I have enough metal in my molars to pick up anything it could possibly dish out!

I'm a news editor at the Inquirer. Every couple of years I dip into radio (I was a world music dj on wxpn back in the day, and later a swing jock on wwdb -- for a very short time-- both here in Phila).
