We are coming to Bonaire in mid-Novemeber, with lots of variable voltage chargers and the like for the camera(s) etc.

I have read the background information on voltage and I am happy that my power adaptors can cope. What I cannot find *any* reference to is what shape the power connectors are ?

Are they like US ? European ? What ? Most of my equipment will take the Euro-style figure of eight cables at the equipment end, but I want to bring ready-made cables to avoid too many converters.

Thanks

Peter

Both actually.

Most wall plugs in my house are 2 prong US. No grounded 3 prong plugs. Most hotel rooms we have seen here are US.

But the 220 comes in on European plugs - round, two prong set wide apart.

On island, Kooymans, Playa Trading, and Impo all have simple prong converter plugs.

That was quick - thanks. I will ask the guy we are renting from what the bungalow contains.

Most of the hotels also have universal out lets that allow for round or spade type 110 v plugs to be inserted. Don't connect anything to your room outlet however without some protection unless it is rated for 50/60 cycles
