In bumping into Martin yesterday (he had a great flight, got in an hour early and can't seem to stop diving), we tentatively agreed that after doing a dive at our house to get on the ReefCam late (3pm-ish) on Nov. 5th, we would hook up for dinner that night. I know Andy's planning on hooking up with Martin, but is anyone else from BonaireTalk around on Bonaire on the 5th and would like to go out to dinner with a big crowd? (I think Martin's gang would be coming along too)

Don't know where yet, but due to baby sitter limitations, it'll be at 7:30pm - any suggestions? Don't know if Andy & Martin are on a budget... (but I wouldn't mind a price effective location) :-)

Jake, I will drop by Mon. afternoon to get details, or if you wish, just leave a note on the gate (south) at the Black Durgon, or on my jeep parked in front. Any restaurant is fine with me. I can't think of a single one on Bonaire that I don't like. This may be a little far-fetched, but for island ambience, Maikey Snack is reasonable and good. As I think about it, though, I'm not sure they're open on Monday. Swiss Chalet is good. It rains fishes is always a good bet, but both are a bit pricey. The place that replaced the Red Pelican(can't remember the new name) is very good and a great place for a party. Again, any place is good for me. I just realized I am droning on about food because I am hungry! ummmm, wish I were there now.

How about Kontiki....or just Kirks place...wish I could be there to join you....

a great spot would be giby's terrace. Inexpensive, great food, easy to find...

OK, now I am just really sick. Have had a hard day...was supposed to do a night dive in Laguna Beach last night...thunder/lightening/rain got in our way...just tried to check on flights for AJ in June from LAX to BON and they don't even have any listed...god am I depressed...hope you all have a wonderful time at dinner...better take the stopper off the bottle in honor of Andy's pants...(sigh)

Tim found us. We tracked him down to Capt. Don's and left a message.

And we had a great time too. Andy & Marsha were unable to rejoin us for dinner, but we had:

It was a very enjoyable evening, with wonderfully diverse conversation and good food.
