When we were in Bonaire last week, we saw some new condos being built, I think it was north toward Capt. Don's. The sign near the road said they start at $59,900 I think. Does anyone know who I could contact to find out about them??

I kind of wanted to find out now, before we go again. If anyone knows of a contact person for real estate questions, PLEASE let me know, I would greatly appreciate it.

http://www.hamletoasis.com/ is their web site. I think also you may have misread the sign. The run more than $150,000.

The sign we saw said they start at 59,900, but I couldn't imagine that. They looked like they were just being built and no one was even living there yet. I'll check that out though. Thanks!

I just checked out that website, and I remember seeing that place. (I remembered the "Happy Resort" thing) It's not the one I was thinking of. Maybe I'll just have to take another trip....

Kelly,
I'll look around on my next trip to town but I can't remember seeing anything but Hamlet up in this area.
Linda

Just spoke with them...wishful thinking...some creative vandal has removed the one....they are $159,000. Now, there are a number of properties that are a bit less....

Michael, well isn't that just the story of my life! What is the name of those condos? I don't recall seeing any real estate offices when I was there, of course I wasn't really looking either. Any websites I could check out?

We are thrilled with our place on Bonaire--looking for reasons to go back;early retirement maybe? For the time being it is rented to two waitresses from the City Cafe.Let me hear from you and I'll let you know it is occupied. Phil

Phil, Where did you buy? We also just bought in Bonaire this year...We don't want to rent full time like you, only part time so we can go down an stay a few weeks a year...we just wanted a place to call "home" on Bonaire. Retirement is our goal too. It is something though...since we found our place, we are making our 3rd trip this year next month....Maybe retirement will come much earlier than we think!
