Michael, I just did a search on Bonaire, GA and it appears to be a two-street city. I could find no local C of C or school. The best I could come up with county school system, nothing relative to "Bonaire".

The USPS knows it, though--mail to my daughter has gone there when addressed to 'Bonaire, NA'!! Her advice is to address to 'Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles'--that requires two levels sleepier worker to misdirect. :–)

The USPO uses machines to read most addresses. The ones w/o numbers are relegated to the human contingent if I am not mistaken. Thanks for the info. I have found scanty stuff on the web and it looks like Bonaire Georgia is much smaller than Bonaire, Netherlands, Antilles, Dutch West Indies.

Michael,

The 2000 Rand McNAlly Road Atlas shows Bonaire (pop. 900) about 20 miles south of Macon, at the intersection of Georgia routes 96 & 129. 'Just a bump in the road'???? Warner-Robbins AFB is about 5 miles up the road.
