Hi, This is my first time "chatting" and I have a question I hope someone could answer for me. This will be my hubby and my 8th trip to Bonaire, in two weeks from today. Last year we were able to rent a boat from a very nice gentleman and just the two of us were allowed to go out alone on the boat for the day. It was a great experience as we went out to Klein Bonaire and did the same trip again with this boat a week later. We ran with the dolphins on one trip and this was the best experience ever for me while at Bonaire. They ran alongside our boat, diving up and down and seemed to be having as much fun as we were. We would like to rent from this man again, and I was wondering if any of you that are "chatting" might have some information on how to contact him. Thanks.

Hi,

I'm not sure about the rental you used but we rented a boat from Toucan Divers at the Plaza last month. The boats are 'Boston Whalers' I think. Have a 15 HP motor & seated 3 adults a 5 year old & a 3 year old comfortably. Diving not allowed but great for snorkeling off Bonaire.

$75 a day including fuel (I think)

I hope this helps if you can't track your man down,

Ian

THANKS!

I was able to find last year's boat-renting gentleman and his name is Jan Blonk. I have emailed him and hope that he is still in Bonaire. I forget the price charged. At least I have a "back-up" from the info you gave me. Thanks again, Jean
