I see some pictures are in the shade and faces do not show well, some others are kind of bleached out by too much sun...what seems to be the 'best' time to get captured with a great shot?

If we remember correctly the morning is the best time. We'll just have to go check it out next week, any reason works for us to go to Bonaire.

I'm not sure but I thought it was in the afternoon around 15:00. In the morning the sun shines alomst straight at streetcam, so than u look pretty "bleached out" If u go later the sun will cast shadows of the house and the trees on the street and u will be standing "in the dark".

Thanks Igor, looks like we will try the 15:00 window a few times...most likely 7 days from today will be the first attempt.
