We will land at 7:40 p.m. on Thursday July 31 for our first trip to Bonaire (just 7 more sleeps!!!) and we figure by the time we get out luggage and our truck and get on our way to CocoPalms it will be 8:30 or so. Are there any stores open at that hour? We'd like to pick up a few food basics for our first evening and breakfast. Thanks for the input! Deb, Rick and Erica

I thought I already suggested to you to send us your shopping list for your first breakfast?!
The supermarket closes at 7pm.

Don't really know of a market open, we did go looking for an open market one night and were not successful. Maybe one of the locals can help out.

Have a great time.

Deb, I usually take a small container of coffee and condiments, a small amount of peanut butter and some crackers andor granola or power bars of some kind. Then plan on hitting the market early that first morning( well, after the orientation dive) Sounds like Marion would be happy to hook you up with some groceries, though. The Cultimara has such delicious baked goodies!

Thanks everybody, I had forgotten about the excellent service from CocoPalms and Marion's offer of a shopping service. I feel so pampered!

6 sleeps to go - except I'm getting too excited to sleep well, and when I do I dream of bubbles, fishies, drifting, floating - ahhhh... As I keep saying, I haven't even been to Bonaire yet and I already want to go back!
