Please humor me. First, when I approach a dive site that has kitesurfers I go elsewhere. No use the risk. So I am respectful of the sport. Second, I saw some pretty amazing stuff at Pink Beach, but thought the kitesurfers were supposed to be up by fishhut???? Third, and this is my really big thing, I saw a chase boat out. At first I thought, oh...this is great for the kitesurfer. Then I realized that not only were the kitesurfers in the shallows, so was the chase boat and it was running up the shore. I thought both the kitesurfers and the chase boats were supposed to be in the deep blue or at least on the other side of the buoy. Am I wrong?

Tribs that is my understanding, I can not find the regulation right now, maybe some one else knows. I thought all not blue water in Bonaire is considered under an alpha flag, ie. making only way speed and no wakes. If it is not, it should be (IMHO).

Tribs..This is from STINAPA

"Rules of the road: There is a speed limit of 5 knots when travelling within 230ft (75m) of the shore. Stay in the Blue Water beyond mooring buoys. Stay at least 150 ft (50m) from any moored boats. Watch out for divers & snorkellers and stay well away from any surface disturbance or bubbles."
