I stopped by their office when on island and their cameras are awesome, saw their underwater cam set up too, modern tech is so cool. You can even purchase cameras there to put on your house and protect them by having camera surveilence. For those that own a place on island, you can watch your place on your computer at home! Have no idea of the costs as we ran out of time to discuss further.

Thanks for the heads up on this Peter, and the Link Pinki, I like the latest view of the new Jibe City windsurf Cam, more action to see on the water rather than mostly beach!!

Only down side is you can only use the 'print screen' to save the images, and no archives to look through other than the on the hour ones from the last 24 hrs.

The best from yesterday... a good crowd at Lac Bay, just not quite enough wind for the really good stuff :-)
but as promised just for Kobi and the ladies!!a good day for HUNKS!!!

This guy must be making a nice groove in the sand with his Skeg!!

now a few more ladies can admire the Abs!!!!

does it show that I so much wanna be there??

Although I will admit now that I am living proof that you don't have to be a HUNK to windsurf :-):-)

But how is this for Perfect Timing.....

to get Captured mid jump on two webcams .. BT at 1 minute capture rate and BreatheIT at 10 sec capture rate...

Can it get any better????

with all the wind and weather info

as seen on the Webcam thread

Yes Boat Chick* I do so desperately need a Windsurf trip to Bonaire, but having just found a German Holiday catalogue for the first time with Bonaire destinations in it with a price tag of about €2000 for two weeks (anything shorter is not worth thinking of) and then I have to add on the $500 for the windsurfing package. I think I'm going to be saving for at least another 12 months, or just carry on hoping the Lotto numbers come up!! :-)

Meanwhile here's the best screen shots from todays windy Lac Bay :-):-) note the wind speed readings!!!!

A storm approaching!!! it's going to get WINDY

WOAHHH!! a very near miss!!!

UP and AWAAAAAYYYYYY!!!! 53kmh

playing with a rainbow

Nearly got some air time !!

Well I've found what appears to be a great deal for 2 weeks on Bonaire with unlimited use of windsurfing kit and a Hire car for about €1800 !!!! on a dutch website, so I just have to get my friend to translate all the details for me :-):-)

and this.....

Oh I do so hope so!!

might... just might be me next year in January !!:-):-)

After reading the last few posts in this thread I can't think of a better place to confirm that in May 09 I will be in a picture similar to the one above

Have just found this capture in the 'past 24hour history'

and proves that even wet days on Bonaire can be beautiful :-):-)

rainbow at Lac Bay
