I will be in Bonaire for 3 weeks in May main objective WINDSURFING !!!(Yes Ann from Cape Cod it's a passion...and eating ofcouse...) Wanna fix my jibes and waterstarts (what jibes and water starts?) and read in Windsurfing Mag Lac Bay is The Place.

Does anyone have any experience renting or will I be better off bringing my own gear? Is it possible at all to ask for a special price deal for such an extended period or is it not done? I appreciate the equipment is top gear but 3 weeks rent is a hefty bill and I just wondered how flexible they are. Some advise please.

I second Ann's advice on renting there. It is possible to contact both places by e-mail and get their rates. The rates go down the longer you stay. We go for two weeks every year and rent from Jibe City. You will not be disappointed at either place. Lac Bay is certainly a great place to nail that jibe.

We rented at Jibe City and they have plenty of great equipment and there is a great little restaraunt/bar next door. Email Ernst at Jibe city for info...
