Hello All...

We have just concluded the King of the Cape Freestyle Pro-Am, which had a bunch of the Bonaire boys at the event, and there was talk amongst them that the Bonaire event was not happening anymore. Is that true??

What happened? The event MUST have had a huge positive impact on the island financially as well as international pride.

We (Coco Palm Garden) had always quite a number of participants staying with us and we got the inofficial information that December does not fit so nicely in the schedule of the PWA and they consider an event in May ....

Yes, I received an email from the PWA because of this post saying that the December event was cancelled for this year but they are going to shoot for next May. I wonder where they are going to hold the Freestyle Championships this year? I thought that Bonaire was the perfect venue for that. Great place for the finals and a huge party all around town.
