My husband and I use Jibe City for all our trips to Bonaire. I know they do a good job with beginners. You really can't go wrong with either place.

I sail out of The Place, but both are very good. They offer different equipment, so I would recommend checking out both websites.

My husband and I would like to know the wind conditions in July, December, and March. We usually sail in Cabarete in July.

May and June have the strongest most consistent winds. Hurrican season can be touch-n-go; if there's a storm it will suck away the trade winds. December is unpredictable, but winds are beginning to come back after hurricane season. Jan - Mar winds are up and down as well as rain clouds. August and Sept bring the doldrums - good time for diving Bonaire!
