If Dive Inn is booked, try CoCoPalm / Casa Oleander... they can hook you up with a package for room and air at Dive Inn. I have gone that way more than once. Definitely in the budget range and perfect for free-roaming shore divers with rented vehicle.

Jacqueline, I am staying at Diver's Paradise for a couple of days, and by their website they appear to have dive packages. I haven't heard anything negative at all about them, and I am confident that they are nice and clean. I will let you know how it is!

thanks for the advice- I will probably book with Divers paradise as they seem to be the best deal. I heard they operate with Buddy dive too- which everyone seems to like.

Jacqueline: We stayed at Divers Paradise in January and were very happy. It is convenient and clean, it has a great balcony and gear storage closet off the balcony and it is directly across from the Street cam!! We thought is was clean and modern and the staff we dealt with was helpful. We were the first divers to use the Buddy Dive shop after they switched to them and they made us feel very comfortable and welcome. The drive up air station is great too. Please feel free to email me if you have any specific questions about the unit, we stayed on the second floor and felt that was the best set up.

Jacqueline, I'd like to give a plug for the Dive Inn. It's too bad they can't fit you in and they are fantastic and the accommodations are great. I love the location, so close to the water and walking to town. My husband and I stayed there last October and there is no where else I will stay. We have booked with them for Feb/04

I just got back from 3 wees at the Dive Inn. We always rent an oceanfront studio, have our own little veranda overlooking Cha Cha pier and beach. The owner, Babs, is an awesome woman who was a pioneer in the whole Bonaire diving experience. She, Peter Hughes, Captain Don, and others were the real originals. I consider her a friend, and we both love Campari and soda with lime before dinner. I have stayed elsewhere on Bonaire, but I only stay at the Dive Inn now.

HA!!!! That's the same donkey who knocked over the garbage bin at the Dive Inn at 3:00am. Even my husband was too scared to get up for a look see so I ended up chasing him and his buddy down the road. If only they could have seen me back home. Not a pretty site!!
