The resort still is clothing optional, and is required on the beach. I have been doing research on this resort since Feb. and think that it will be really enjoyable and peacefull. I have not heard a negative comment about it yet. Will this be your first trip to Sorobon too?

tod,
do i understand that you CANNOT wear clothes on the sorobon beach?

also, we may not be staying at sorobon but would want to check out the beach. in st. martaan Orient Beach was open to folks not staying at Club Orient. do you know if the same is true at sorobon?

do i need a passport for bonaire?

thanks for the help!!

You can check out Sorobons new web page at the below address:

http://www.sorobonbeachresort.com/

The two paragraphs below are from Sorobons web site.

U.S. and Canadian citizens must have a valid passport plus a round trip or transit passage ticket (A birth certificate together with drivers license, ID is also accepted. Europeans need a valid passport plus a round trip or transit passage ticket. Maximum stay: 14 days with the possibility of extending the visit to 90 days.

You can relax and walk around nude everywhere in the resort, inside the fence and in the bay in front of the resort. Clothing is optional everywhere as well. Because of the naturist character of the resort we prefer nudity at least on the beach and in our swimming area. We do not have a dress code in our restaurant and bar. We call this code "None".

The resort allows visitors to the nude beach for a cost of $7-$15 per day, the price was on the old page but I haven't found it on the new page.

Sorobon has a discount for the off season too, Sorobon's Specials in 2003:
From July 15 to October 15, we offer you the following specials.
Stay for 28 days, pay for 23 days
Stay for 21 days, pay 17 days
Stay for 14 days, pay 11 days
Stay for 7 days, pay 5 days

If you have any more questions just yell....
