My wife and I will be taking our first trip to Bonaire in Dec/03. We are staying with friends at Lions in a 2\bdr condo for a week. Our friends are leaving after a week and we are staying for 4 more nights and need a hotel. After lots of internet research we are leaning towards the Divi.(heard good & bad things) We have visited and dove in Jamaica, St Lucia, Antigua and Mexico. What can we expect in comparison in Bonaire. Any suggestions or comments about Lion's, Divi or some of your preferences and dive operators would be very helpful. Thanks, Mike & Cathy

Lion's dive is terrific-we've stayed there 3 times. Bon Bini, the dive shop housed there, is a class act as well. E-mail me if you need specifics.

Welcome Mike! I have stayed at Divi and loved it, I am staying there again over Thanksgiving. Deluxe Oceanfront room is the way to go, you won't regret it.

Hello, could not get an ocean front room. Had to settle for a studio at Divi. Is the studio or the newly redone garden rooms the way to go??
