If money were no object where would you stay in Bonaire if you wanted beach access, privacy, and air conditioning? Diving and non-diving members of the family. Please any suggestions, flight booked for August.

I'd rent a villa on the water! I beleive that some are available to rent, contact Sunbelt reality or Sun rentals, I think they could help you.

I would put the 3BR Sand Dollar Condos on the list. I prefer the 2nf floor units, verses the villa you get a pool, on site dive facility, maid service and security.

If beach is a priority, you have to also consider Plaza and Harbor Village. Of the two, I would lean towards Plaza, in terms of availibility and access to other activities besides diving.

Caribbean Court: Very spacious, luxury full arconditioned appartments. Up to three bedrooms, large clean pool, only 2 minutes walking distance from a public beach.For the coming months special rates available.
On site photo tours Divers and a watersports & adventure center ( incl mountain bike rental).

Thanks everyone for your comments. We were set up with a villa next to Captain Don's but reading about the construction work has worried us. Am investigating your other suggestions. This is my first time on any kind of newsgroup, and it's great to see that people actually respond!From my scannining of the newsgroup it seems like most people are divers - and we are all nice people! On Sunday I am diving in the murky English Channel in a drysuit, so you will understand how much I am looking forward to warm seas.
