I've been doing loads of research on Bonaire accommodations and I came across the Residence Windsock. I did a search of the bulletin board and it appears that this is a new place??? Has anyone checked it out yet? The prices seem reasonable and although I've never been to Bonaire, the location on the map appears to be good. Also, they use Photo Tour Dive Shop. Does anyone have any experience with them? My husband and I will have to rent some gear so we're looking for a dive shop that takes good care of their equipment. I'd appreciate any feedback I can get.

All of the diver operators in Bonaire take good care of their equipment. Photo Tours is excellent as well as Buddy, Toucan, WannaDive, Capt Dons, Divi, Caribe Inn...pick the resort you wish to stay and dive with them...Windsock is not especially convenient. I think you have to drive to PhotoTours to catch the boat. PhotoTours and Toucan are the resident dive shops for Carribean Courts and Plaza respectively. The others I listed are at their respective resorts.
