I have reservations at the Bonaire Caribbean Club, House #2, February 25-March 11. Has anyone experienced the houses/resort? I made the reservations through Sun Rentals and so far, they appear to be up to speed; I'm just wondering if the accommodations are up to speed also? I've visited Bonaire previously and always stayed in Hotels/Resorts - this time I wanted an out of the way house.

Whoops - Caribbean Club #12; Toucan Diving is associated with Caribbean Club. Any feedback?

Whoa Karen you just added a few more gray hairs to my recently highlighted locks as WE are renting Caribbean Club number 2 from Feb 22 through March4th! Glad that your second post cleared it all up!! We took a ride by Caribbean Club last April during the rennovations and after contacting Sun Rentals decided to give it a try. The price is certainly right and the location is nice. I was a bit concerned being "so far out" but when thinking about it we are not that much farther out than the year we stayed at Lighthouse Beach and just a bit more so than when we were in Belnem. And I do like some of the nearby dive sites! SunRentals has been more than helpful to us so far. We did not have Sun Rentals do our air through Toucan as we have used WannaDive in the past and made our own arrangements. Looking forward to meeting you when you arrive on the 25th! What time will you get in?

I have never stayed at the Caribbean Club but my dealing with SunRentals were great. Friendly nice people.

Susan: Sorry I made your heart stop I can never remember whether it's #2 or #12 that we've rented. We're flying American Eagle thru SJ so I think it's about 9:00 p.m. that we arrive. Are you on that flight? I'm carrying all of my camera equipment on board this trip - can hardly wait for the TSA hassles. My last visit, stayed at Capt Don's - way too expensive for the amount of time we spent there - that was my main reason for looking elsewhere. We haven't made dive plans yet but have heard good things about Wanna Dive and Toucan. Travel time from home is 21 hours so my fingers are crossed that our house is ready and available when we arrive. We'll be sure to look you up! And thanks for your input - I feel better now.

Susan: I'm trying to answer phones and type at the same time and now just re read your message. I guess we aren't on the same flight if you're arriving on the 22nd - although I wouldn't mind going earlier.

How were your experiences at Caribbean Club? My family is thinking about staying there when we go to Bonaire this summer. I am familiar with the general location, and like Susan, like the northern dive sites, but want to give out dive business to WannaDive. Can you give me any details about the units in which you stayed or the property as a whole?
