I have looked at the website and searched the archives, although there are a few comments about the villa, there is nothing very detailed. I'm wondering mostly about convenience to diving and town . I'm not too worried about the condition of the place, I'm sure it will be suitable for us. We are traveling in a group of 5 couples and that is why we are looking for a large villa.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Jim

Jim,
I will be in Bonaire tomorrow (1/14/03). I plan to check out Sunset Hamlet Villa while I am there. We have a group of 8 people going to Bonaire in June and I am scouting out new (atleast to our group) large villas. We have always enjoyed staying at Caribbean Court but our June trip group wants to stay on the ocean with front door diving.

Jim,
This seems to be a nice place to stay and Dive. The villa is LARGE. Only the 1st floor bedroom has a queen sized bed and the other four bedrooms all have a set of twin beds. It has a very large kitchen and gathering room. The kitchen has a large side by side frig with an icemaker. It is on the north side of Captain Dons and on the water in front of Hamlet Oasis. PhotoTours Divers is supposed to be building a pier About 20-30 yards from the villa. We did an afternoon dive in front of the villa....very nice wall. I think this is an excellent choice for a large group.

We stayed there last year and are booked there again this May/June. The place is perfect for a large group like ours (nine this time). The diving off the beach is great; it's a slow dive to Buddy Dive for more tanks! E mail for more info.
